What side is the appendix on left or right and how do you know if you have appendicitis?

The pain would be sharp and continuous just to the left of the right hip bone protrusion area.Fever would happen. See your Doctor. They treat it now days with Antibiotics instead of the knife.It could be the beginnings of a hernia too.Best wishes.
