Twelve hours without a cigarette. I'm not happy. Anyone have a good idea that I can use to get my mind off cig?
Add to your caffeine intake a little.The chemical makeup of nicotene and caffeine are quite similar.The real secret to quitting smoking is that you must believe it is in your own best interests,healthwise,to quit.And also you must attain a certain state of mind whereby you determine that you've had your fun smoking but it's over.Sure it was a lot of fun.And you want a lot more.You want to say,"Hey,I'm still in this game!"Cuz smoking becomes an integral part of just being alive.It makes you feel special and alive.I enjoyed it and still could go for a pack of Luckies or Camels.But I don't,cuz it's over.These things such as the end of relationships;addictions and such are not easy.All the patches and Shick centers and other gimmicks won't get it if you're not willing to quit yourself.If you really want to you will,but don't expect some fad to do it for you.You gotta WANT it.Sorry but that's the way it is.I hope you make it.E-gards,BK
