How do I format my XP Home computer?

try going to start then run and typing msconfig then enter, if you come up with a black screen and a c:> prompt type format c:\, it should ask for conformation answer with a y or n, this will render the pc useless after this , everything will be wiped of you hard drive , if you have more than one drive repeat the process
