Emails going directly into Trash Folder?

I moderate a few groups and all my emails are going into my Trash Folder. I am moving them out of the trash and sending them to my inbox before Yahoo empties my Trash folder, so I can look through them before approving. Maybe I am just not getting it but my emails do not go through anything but Yahoo. I have a Road Runner Cable account but hardly ever use the email addy, Microsoft Outlook. I always thought my emails just went through Yahoo, the end. Is this just a Yahoo glitch that I need to wait it out or is there something can do to resolve this problem?
