Do You Thing This The Right Age To?

I want toilet train my son who is 20mo now. He hides when he pups and says oops. He fallows me every time I used the bath room and try to use it. Does this mean he is ready to be toilet trained. I just don't start before he is ready. How should I go about this and what is the best way to do it.
