Gaining Custody of kids with criminal record?

You would be wise to get a lawyer asap...without a legal custody agreement she can do anything she wants as long as she doesn't put the children in danger. At least consult with a lawyer (try to get some 'real people' references for someone good), and tell them EVERYTHING so they have the facts they need to ess your situation.
